McKinsey Undergraduate Women’s Impact Award
At McKinsey you don’t just come to work, you come to change: to change a client’s perspective on a challenging issue, to change your growing capabilities into expertise, and to change the world around you. With the Women’s Impact Award, we celebrate and support women like you who strive to meaningfully change the world. The award of $1,500 will support summer plans in the fields of global public healtheconomic development and opportunity creationsustainability, and/or social innovation and technology. 
 
McKinsey will select one award winner to receive:

  • $1,500 financial award
  • A McKinsey mentor to advise you as you consider you career aspirations
  • Opportunities to showcase your work to the McKinsey community and your peers on campus
 
Application details: Apply by Monday, April 10th at 11:59pm EST. 

Eligible applicants will meet the following critiera:
  • Currently enrolled as a freshman, sophomore, or junior
  • Currently identifies as a woman (regardless of the sex they were assigned at birth)
  • Pursuing a summer opportunity pertinent to one of four topics listed above

Award Parameters:
  • All geographies are eligible
  • Includes formal programs, internships, or projects with organizations
  • Includes independent projects or research for junior independent work or senior thesis work
  • Excludes study abroad through an educational institution
Students may submit only one project application, and group submissions will not be considered.  Some general examples of projects could include, but are not limited to: Developing an app, interning or volunteering with a not-for-profit, or pursuing independent research.

  • Unofficial transcript
  • 250-500 word statement that addresses why you are passionate about this topic and the impact you hope to achieve through your work
All applicants will be notified by April 20, 2017. Candidates will be evaluated on application materials, as well as one round of interviews for selected candidates in late-April.
