FAST - Operations & Support Team Lead - Asia - Gurgaon
Who you’ll work with

You will work in McKinsey's Gurgaon office as part of the Financial Application Services Team (FAST). 

When you join McKinsey as Operations & Support Team Lead, you are joining a firm that will challenge you and invest heavily in your professional development.  In this role, you will work as a Techno-Functional Team Lead in FAST, which is a “go-to” subject matter expert in EBS Finance and Management Reporting with the specific purpose of helping to streamline EBS and Reporting processes; guiding the team in critical issue resolutions; liaison with various IT organizations. You will also work closely with several other leading vendor team under FAST Operations & L2 Support stream in terms of monitoring and measuring SLA and progress on problem management.

What you’ll do

You'll be responsible for developing and maintaining solid knowledge on the Firm’s financial accounting and reporting systems, performing accounting & reporting system setup and configuration if needed.

Independently provide system solutions to EBS and Reporting issues and enhancements; act as an escalation point to FAST support / Operation team for complex issues as well as lead the team in effective handling of month-end close, patch analysis/testing efforts. You will provide hands-on expertise on financial month-end close and act as a techno-functional solution architect within FAST. Perform functional and technical testing of system projects; bug fixes and enhancements.  You will participate in prioritizing system issues for the development team and have regular calls with development team to keep track of progress. You will be expected to independently identify areas of improvement and makes recommendations. 

  • Bachelor’s degree/Graduate degree with an outstanding academic record.
  • Techno Functional Experience: 7-10 years on R12 Oracle EBS Finance / Projects.
  • Expert level knowledge – R12 EBS finance modules such as Accounts Payable; Accounts. Receivable; Projects; General Ledger.
  • Technical Expertise – Knowledge of SQL/PL SQL.
  • A very good working knowledge of finance business processes; interactions among various functions such as  IT Development team; L3 Support team; DBAs; IT Infrastructure teams. 
  • Business intelligence cross-functional reporting experience using OBIEE and associated tools including Finance and projects analytics; 
  • A working experience in data modeling and maintaining logical data layer for reporting
