Who you’ll work with

We are currently looking for a Digital Analyst to join the McKinsey Insight Solution in Wroclaw, Poland. This is an exciting opportunity to help build our Insight Solution from the ground up as we gather an initial team.

As part of McKinsey Solutions, Insight Solution is bringing together the best of McKinsey’s Consumer Insights approaches.  The Agile Research solution is a cutting-edge approach to Insights gathering (quantitative, qualitative and digital) that will fuel our client’s ability to make better business decisions in real time.  

New Ventures is a recently formed part of McKinsey focused on fostering innovations driven by analytics, design thinking, mobile, social and other technologies and integrating them into our client work. These solutions complement McKinsey's traditional client service and are delivered in many ways, including subscriptions, workshops,training programs and project-based engagements. We work closely with clients to embed our tools, analytics and expertise, and provide on-going support to help them build the capabilities they need to revolutionize how decisions are made.

What you’ll do

As a Digital Analyst, you will conduct secondary research on digital marketing asks and opportunities. You will work on requests related to various marketing and sales related topics. You will clean and transform specific data streams and have the ability to generate insights from large data sets

You must have a passion for building partnerships, as you will play an important role in the growth of the solution across EMEA. You will have a chance to build knowledge and expertise in the digital marketing area.

You will work closely with our client service teams to scope the potential work by understanding client needs and the questions they are trying to solve. In addition, helping teams interpret results and communicate the “so what” of our findings.
 

Qualifications
•    University degree or higher, preferably in economics, business, marketing or digital
•    1-2 years of relevant experience preferably in business intelligence, or market research and analysis 
•    Understanding of key marketing, business, economic and financial concepts and terminology
•    Knowledge of statistical tools and languages is a great add-on
•    Strong problem solving skills. Ability to help CSTs scope the potential work by understanding client needs and the questions they are trying to solve. In addition, helping teams interpret results and communicate the “so what” of our findings 
•    Strong project management skills. Experience managing multiple timelines in a deadline driven environment
•    Strong oral and written communication skills 
•    Highly responsiveness. Has the ability to quickly triage requests from CSTs. This can at times require calls/emails beyond regular working hours
•    Analytical mindset, multi-tasking abilities, service orientation, team spirit and intellectual curiosity
