Energy Insights, a specialist data and analytics unit, provides distinctive analysis,insights, and support to energy players. We offer services along the oil and gas value chain, including exploration and production, refining and marketing, natural gas, trading and oil field services, and equipment. Energy Insights’ dedicated specialists apply proprietary tools and methodologies and a data-driven approach. With our strong ties with McKinsey’s oil and gas consulting practice and access to the expertise of the wider McKinsey network, our research and analysis yield knowledge available nowhere else.

We work closely with clients to embed our tools, analytics and expertise, and provide on-going support to help them build the capabilities they need to revolutionize how decisions are made.
You'll work with Solutions leadership to create Energy Insights annual strategic plan, including client impact targets, revenue targets, investment plan, people plan etc. You will design, implement and continuously update various reporting metrics to measure progress against this plan. Specifically, you will design and execute on pipeline tracking for client development, creating and maintaining a robust P&L sheet for that enables clear tracking of performance and enables forecasting of capacity and demand fluctuations. You will create a deep awareness of the business performance, issues, opportunities together with its global management in order to be able to advise senior leaders on priorities and key topics to problem solve.
You will manage key operating meetings – quarterly Board meetings, monthly leadership meetings, bi-weekly finance check-ins etc. You will work closely with cross-functional teams (Finance, PD etc.) to get work done, solve problems and drive recommendations through to implementation. You will work closely with PD/recruiting counterpart to run people operations for team, including hiring for FTE roles, managing rotational roles (and AA cell cross staffing), deciding compensation models, assist in conducting thorough reviews etc.
