Who you’ll work with

You’ll join Periscope in our London of Louvain-La-Neuve hub. Periscope is part of McKinsey Solutions and McKinsey’s New Ventures. Periscope is looking for a talented and creative Periscope Specialist (Associate Consultant Equivalent) to help build and scale innovative Business Intelligence solutions, combining McKinsey’s consulting knowledge with state-of-the-art technologies.

What you’ll do

You’ll work closely with Periscope leadership and along-side McKinsey consultants on our client projects, to define, set-up, and manage the delivery of Periscope’s expertise. The Periscope Solutions are leveraged by consultants and Firm assets to serve clients and create sustainable impact. You’ll often work on more than one project at any point in time and will be at the core of bridging client business challenges with Periscope’s capabilities, which allow C-level clients to solve problems by leveraging the data available to them in a scalable and sustainable way and help them be the most advanced users of analytics in their field.
You’ll lead and engage with client representatives and McKinsey consultants in joint problem-solving sessions.
You’ll drive and master the analytics/methodology embedded into the Solutions and the data concepts related to Periscope’s functional or sector domains.
You’ll be comfortable engaging and leading a small team of analysts in various stages of client engagement.
You’ll develop a deep understanding of the domain/function (across pricing, promotions, trade architecture and assortment), to clearly articulate the benefits of Solution to clients, both external and internal, and how they are implemented in an organization. You’ll lead client adoption by engaging with them in their use of the Solution, working both independently and as part of a team to drive sustainable and high impact. This involves engaging with client sponsors on a regular basis to discuss how to drive user adoption and helping them with questions they might have regarding the Solution usage or applicability.


·         At least 5 years of experience in management consulting (IT, analytics ideally) and/or business intelligence and experience working with large databases, data visualization tools and statistics, within CPG, Retail and/or B2B organizations preferred

·         Able to work well in highly entrepreneurial environment with teams and with sponsor on a regular basis

·         Domain expertise in consumer strategy, analytics, pricing a definite plus

·         Strong business acumen and proven problem-solving skills with ability to quickly process complex information and present it clearly and simply

·         Consistently delivers exceptional results and great ideas, working independently and as part of a team

·         Curious and committed to personal development, comfortable with ambiguity

·         Master degree in business or in engineering (a MBA is a plus)
