You will support the High Definition Video Conference (HDVC) infrastructure of the firm globally.
You will be part of a team that provides distinctive professional advice and assistance to colleagues and clients on all aspects of HDVC. Your responsibilities will include meeting scheduling and consulting, working closely with customers and provide general information and guidance on HDVC, and managing complex, high profile video conferences. Additionally, you'll help customers (e.g., team assistants, consultants) to understand and choose the right setup for their video conferences, you'll provide in-depth consulting on the ideal screen layout, content sharing options, seating, audio and camera setup, and you'll develop meeting scripts (e.g., build timeline and flow for participants, create instructions for technical team).
You'll work closely with McKinsey clients to plan and organize external video conferences and provide real-time meeting support, and collaborate with on-site colleagues in offices worldwide and ensure proper setup and configuration of VC equipments and rooms. Additionally, you'll be the single point of contact for any request in regards to video conferencing, especially during high profile meeting events. You'll coordinate live meetings in collaboration with on-site colleagues, external service providers and other McKinsey support teams, and you'll contribute to knowledge building within the team by finding and documenting common solutions for reoccurring problems and by providing training for other team members.
You'll contribute to problem prevention by developing recommendations for improvements and by building best practices and you'll need to have flexible availability for possible after-hours “on-call” duties.
