You will join Periscope, a McKinsey Solution and part of New Ventures, in Budapest.
Periscope leverages decades of McKinsey’s marketing and sales experience helping leading companies improve pricing, promotion, assortments, and performance management. Periscope’s combination of software, tailored services, and expertise provides our clients with a granular view of their commercial and financial performance by gathering and integrating their landscape of data and information into a central data warehouse. Clients can use our intuitive interface to make decisions based on advanced analytics and can embed new pricing, commercial, and performance management capabilities throughout their organization.

McKinsey Solutions is a core part of New Ventures and offers practical tools that help people at all levels of an organization generate insights they need to address both strategic and day-to-day decisions. These solutions complement McKinsey's traditional client service and are delivered in many ways, including subscriptions, workshops, training programs and project-based engagements. We work closely with clients to embed our tools, analytics and expertise, and provide on-going support to help them build the capabilities they need to revolutionize how decisions are made.
You will work closely with Periscope leadership and diverse McKinsey resources to define, set-up, and manage the solution delivery processes.
You'll leverage Periscope, McKinsey Solutions Office (MSO) and firm assets to serve clients and create sustainable impact. You'll often work on more than one project at any point in time and are at the core of bridging client business challenges with Periscope’s capabilities. You'll work with client representatives and McKinsey consultants in joint problem-solving sessions, and define the project scope (problem definition, configuration, data modeling, usability review, process set-up, etc.). You'll estimate costs for setting up operations and operational costs for executing data acquisition and professional solution delivery activities, and you'll manage the set-up of operations by being the single point of contact for internal IT teams and/or the different shared service centers.
Additionally, you'll drive the process of converting and enriching client raw data sources to deliver the insights related to the business challenges at stake. This will require you to master the analytics and methodology embedded into Periscope and the functional and data concepts related to the Periscope's functional or sector domains. You'll accompany clients in their use of Periscope to sustainably drive high impact. This involves engaging with client sponsors on a regular basis to discuss about how to drive user adoption, help them with questions they might have regarding the Solution usage or applicability and build client capabilities. Further, you'll steer the usage of a large range of capabilities such as our Data Services organization for heavy duty data work, more junior colleagues such as Solution Specialists, Data Specialists and other practices within the Firm (for example, McKinsey Digital Labs).
