What you’ll do

Our Finance Department in Casablanca is looking for a Financial Analyst to provide highly technical analytical support across a broad range of areas.

Analysis and Reporting:

  • Financial reporting and analysis for the Africa Complex.
  • Prepare Exchange Office Regulator quarterly reports
  • Prepare headquarter required reporting (carbon report, car plan report, ...)  
Budgeting:
  • Coordinates budgeting with other departments at Africa Complex level
  • Examines budget estimates from all departments and critically examining them for accuracy and completeness.
  • Suggests suitable amendments in budgets to managers for each concerned department
  • Consolidates data for budget presentation, providing an overview of financial status to direct manager.
  • Monitors the budget throughout the year and share reporting with managers for each department
  • Prepares detailed reports about discrepancies and amendments that occurred in the budget during the entire financial year.
  • Prepares monthly estimates of expected year-end financial results and suggest preventive actions if necessary
Statutory Books:
  • Prepares reconciliations of intercompany transactions and follow up with other offices
  • Conducts year-end statutory close with internal Corporate Tax Team
  • Interacts with auditors and coordinate between different actors for the success of the annual audit and tax return

Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Economics or related fields
  • Up to 4 years’ experience as Financial Analyst in a multicultural environment
  • Proficient in spreadsheets and databases manipulations and MS Office
  • Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills
  • Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance and information analysis
  • Familiar with financial subjects, tax laws, money market and business environment
  • Fluent in both French and English
