We are looking to hire multiple Recruiting Administrators to support our North American (NA) Recruiting Team. This role will sit at McKinsey's Tampa Service Center (TSC), located in St. Petersburg, FL.

The Tampa Service Center (TSC) opened in May 2010 to provide Executive Assistant support to North America as well as HR administrative support. The TSC has expanded to become a hub for North American Finance and is home to over 450 colleagues within practice administration, recruiting, analytics, design, learning, benefits and other roles.

What you’ll do

You will participate as an active member of the NA recruiting team by performing diverse administrative duties to support source recruiting teams.  

These responsibilities include, but are not limited to, entering information into REACH (Candidate Tracking System) and running data reports, supporting efforts to staff recruiting events with consultants, preparing material for interview days, and general project assistance for the NA recruiting community.

You will contribute as a value-add and collaborative participant of the team, and as such you'll establish effective working relationships with all recruiters.  You'll assist with interview day preparation by securing conference rooms, catering, and AV equipment; owning materials preparation (e.g., pulling candidate resumes, creating a mail merge for labels and candidate evaluations, preparing name tags, and printing cases); and supporting efforts to secure assessors (consultants).  You may on occasion provide on-site interview day support, and you'll help to support candidate preparations, including coordinating candidate coaching efforts and logistics for case interview workshops.

anage a high volume of candidate intelligence and maintain accurate and up-to-date information in our candidate tracking system, and you'll continute to help develop this system to ensure accuracy and efficiency.  You'll run regular reports and assist the Analytics team with any special data requests, and you'll work closely with the recruiting teams (and specific recruiters/sources) to manage day-to-day operations and support recruiting efforts across the multiple streams during the attraction, selection and cultivation phase.  You'll also have the chance to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with a variety of constituents including recruiters, consultants, candidates and external vendors.

  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience, recruitment/HR background preferred
  • Outstanding organizational skills, ability to coordinate multiple streams of work independently; meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills; ability to build strong relationships; a positive and open attitude with a sense of fun
  • Proactive problem solver capable of identifying issues and generating solutions; desire and energy to continuously improve recruiting processes
  • Demonstrated initiative, judgment and maturity; track record as self-starter; discreet, respectful and caring with confidential information
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in recruiting tools and programs
  • Flexibility to deal with ambiguity and last minute changes; ability to remain calm under pressure; comfortable working with minimal direction and flexibility to work overtime as required
  • Ability to prioritize and look beyond own responsibilities in order to help team members with more urgent deadlines as needed
  • College degree preferred
